Once upon a time...

In a land far far away, there lived a king and a queen and their four beautiful children... Unfortunately they were way too boring to write about, so you're all stuck with the Dimmock's instead!

We're a bit of a fractured fairytale.I can't promise to update every day...I'm a bit slack like that (shhh), but I'll do my best to keep it up.

And they all lived happily ever after...well that's the plan at least :oP

The cuteness that is...

Saxon Chase...

Who could resist this smile?
Photobucket

Apparently it's quicker to go over the ball...
Photobucket

Kinda looks like he's laying an egg...
Photobucket

Almost there...
Photobucket

Hey! Where's my ball??
Photobucket

See what I have to put up with?
Photobucket

Hanging out with Daddy...
Photobucket

And playing soccer...
Photobucket

Not sure what he was looking at here...maybe our tiny Australian sea gulls.
Photobucket

It's over.

Life as we know it, that is. The midget can walk! Well he took a few steps anyway. But they were actual steps! And he wasn't holding onto anything! Very exciting...and a little bit sad at the same time. He's not a baby anymore :o(

Anyway...I promised pictures, so pictures you shall have...

The cheeky monkey.

Photobucket

Brotherly love...I'm pretty sure Saxon was trying to take food out of Wyatt's mouth. We obviously don't feed him enough :o/

Wyatt and our new "baby"... Jasper.
Photobucket

A morning at the beach...
Photobucket

Photobucket

And the only pic of all 4 together since the last one was taken in January. And it's crappy as well. But notice the colour co-ordinating clothes? See? I'm not totally useless!
Photobucket

There's more...many more...but that will do for today. Because I'm lazy :oP

It's official!

I'm the suckiest blogger in the history of blogging. I'm so sorry...it's like all my motivation has deserted me. I'm doing my best to muster some up though! Let me start with a quick update...

Steff...has the next week off work. Yay!!! I'm all excited because I get to keep him all to myself for a whole week! Well ok...I might have to share him with the kids (maybe), but he'll be home! He's probably not so happy about it...he was supposed to go to Fraser Island this weekend for a weekend of beetles, beer and boys (that sounded a lot less disturbing in my head?!). Due to a few reasons though, he's not. And I feel really bad about that because I know he really wanted to go...but I'd be lying if I said I was sad about it. Steff at home = happy happy me! Yeah...I kinda love him. So if that makes me a bad person...meh...whatever! :oP

Me...As I said, very much lacking in the motivation department right now. I start my painter course on Monday the 20th, which I'm really looking forward to, but also kind of dreading. No more procrastinating!

Gaige...Very happy. He made it into the laptop class he wants to be in next year when he starts high school. I think it'll be good for him, and he's very excited about it.

Grayson...Is Grayson! She's doing ok. A few minor issues, but for the most part she's pretty good. She was having a bit of trouble with her times tables, which was carrying over into other areas at school, but we got her a game called "Timez Attack" for the computer, and she's improving in leaps and bounds. So far so good!

Wyatt...Oh, I just don't know where to start. I could fill a book a week with the funny things he says. He's a bit of a handful though. Some days he's lucky he's so cute...it's the only things that stops me from strangling him! He's just about completely toilet trained though! No nappies at all during day, just at bed time. And he's very proud of himself at the moment for not falling out of bed, because he took the rail off the side of it. He's not a baby anymore *sniff*.

Saxon...Is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life! He's a lazy little bugger though...still won't walk. He can stand no problems, and he can jump up and down on the spot, but he won't take a single step. He won't speak either (although this one might be a blessing if he turns out like the other 3?).

I promise to add some photo's this week. I have big plans to take the kids Christmas pics while Daddy is home. Plus, I'd like to get Lisa's maternity shoot done, now that she actually has a belly :oP

If only I had a husband who loved me enough to buy me a shiny new camera... *sigh* It might help me get more motivated. Hint hint... It's not working, is it?

Bye for now...I'll be back...promise! xox

A little about us...ok, mostly me...

Hey there! I'm guessing that most people who drop by to visit us here already know who we are, but just in case...

My name's Nikki. I'm mum to 4 (yeah, 4...can you believe it? No, me either *shudder*) kids, aged from 16 down to 4. My husband, Steff, is originally from the UK - I stole him away from the cold and the damp to live in Central Queensland, where he must endure almost endless sunshine and blue skies. Somehow he manages ;o)

I started this blog as a way to keep family in England up to date with our comings and goings. And it lets me show off how cute the kids are getting!

A little about me...I'm a professional photographer, I'm obsessive about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, love Harry Potter, Sookie Stackhouse (only book Sookie, not True Blood Sookie. It's an important distinction!), (the 10th) Doctor Who, cupcakes, and Spuffy fanfic (although not necessarily in that order). I'm also an extreme perfectionist with a love of the creative and original, who has a very low tolerance for stupidity. If you ask my husband, he'll tell you I'm a huge snob - I'm really not. I just think I'm better than everyone else :oP (That's a joke, ok? Pretty much).

Oh, and please leave a comment to tell me how fabulous you think I am...it makes me write faster and more often ;o) No really...that part wasn't a joke...
